There is a caveat that you should be aware of. Delivery attempted on or before the Guaranteed Delivery Date will satisfy Amazon’s Delivery Guarantee. Therefore, if an attempt was made to deliver the package and was not completed for any reason, you will not be eligible for a delivery refund.

To inquire about a refund of the shipping fee you paid on an order, contact Amazon here and click the Start Chatting Now button. Amazon’s messaging assistant will ask what it can do to help you. Select an item I ordered. Next, select your order, then Order Problems > Shipping or Delivery Problems > Shipment is Late.
Explain the situation to the agent handling all your order details. The representative will tell you what options you have for resolving the problem.
